I bought an OP 41 Blue in May 2023 & love it. I have that with a 2022 YG Day Date 36 & a 1999 Air King 34. I like all the watches & different sizes. The OP is a simple classic!

You cannot go wrong with the OP 41 it's a nice watch, I personally prefer the green dial which to me is a unique one, pull the trigger if you can you won't regret it.

Waited ages finally got an OP41 in green. Felt like a Seiko and the green looked shit in all lights
Sold 2 months later at a slight profit and went back to my sub |

Thoughts on new op 41

What do you mean by “it felt like a Seiko”? How so? As someone who owns both, that is certainly not accurate. There is nothing wrong with Seiko, but the fit and finish of a Rolex OP is much better than any Seiko I own, and I own a fair amount. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

It didn't have the "Rolex feel" I waited ages to get it... Never got rid of a Rolex quicker. Felt light and "tinny" The green almost looked black, never looked nice in photos. Was thoroughly disappointed. Obviously all the above is personal opinion. |

Make sure that the 41 is the correct size. 36 also may look good.

Thoughts on new op 41

Very strange. I have a silver dial 36, which I waited a year for, and it certainly feels like a Rolex, and is not tinny. I have not seen the green IRL, but have seen turquoise, Celebration, candy pink and silver. All were very nice. Sorry you were disappointed, especially after the wait. I also have a Datejust, which has that same Rolex quality feel. Maybe because the Sub is heavier, the OP felt cheap. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Just yesterday, a good friend of mine paid me a visit, wearing his new Explorer 36 on (BTW, now I want one!). It certainly felt very light, if not exactly "tinny", compared to my 126713 GRNR, and even to my DJ36 (wrist size is the same so not due to lack of links). I understand that you have a Submariner, which is certainly substantially heavier than the OP, hence maybe the difference in perceived quality. P.s. : never get a titanium watch, now THEY feel tinny

I totally respect other people's opinions and experiences
I'm a fairly well built human and 6ft2 For me it felt insignificant on the wrist. I'm used to wearing, subs and gmts and maybe my "muscle/wrist memory" didn't accept it. The whole clasp felt fragile to me. Colour wise the green just disappointed me. I have no doubt on a smaller person it may feel much better. One person's garbage is another's treasure. |

there is obviously quite a lot you can get in that price range (omega, iwc etc etc) but none of them will be a Rolex.
OP41 is a fantastic watch. |

With that said, love the green dial, as I wish Rolex would've kept the red, yellow, and 'tiffany' blue in the 41 still in production. Those modern 'stella' dials add a nice dab of pastel colors to the brand. As for OP, go with your gut on what sings to you the best and wait for it. Best of luck in your hunt |

I was contemplating getting the blue OP41, but decided to set my sights on the Explorer 40 instead.
