Great back story - thank you for sharing. It’s stories like yours, that remind me why I enjoy TRF.
Glad you and yours are fully recovered. I like the thought of your sticking the papers in the box. May 2021 bring you and your family health, peace and prosperity. Congrats on the new BLNR - enjoy it and wear it in good health and fond memories of your Dad. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Nice pick up brother. My mother spent an entire career in education and recently retired. Hope you can get back in the classroom soon with the children. They need you now more than ever.

Great story, this is my favorite watch in my very small collection. Ive always been meaning to check out Wilsons but didnt want to have to restart the purchase history with a new AD.

Thanks everyone. I guess my motive, beyond just being excited and sharing a story I think people can relate to, is don’t get too bogged down by what is happening with supply and AD’s. We all obsess over what is happening to the company we truly love. I do too
I think that my story was a mix of luck and timing, but I chose a real store lead by real people and they were able to see that I was real, too. That “relationship” is exactly what the experienced people of this forum have been talking about. It’s not always sales history. I hope others are able to find the right AD’s. They make all the difference. |

Congratulations! Thanks for sharing your story. More often than not, although it's pretty exciting to get a great watch, the person and their story behind the watch is far more interesting.
Glad to hear you were able to overcome some turbulence (such as COVID), remain positive and achieve your goal. Never underestimate the value of maintaining the relationship with an AD. Quote:

I love that batman on jubilee. I purchased a 116710ln back in 2010 and it is on my wrist almost everyday. And I just purchased a gold L series bluesy. These watches last for ever so you'll be building a lifetime of stories and memories with your watch on your wrist.

I'm liking that jubilee bracelet. I wasn't a fan in the first pictures online when it was first released, but on the wrist it looks so good, congrats!
