I would think that in most cases this would require quite a bracelet adjustment. I’m in the no camp. I even bought my ex her own Rolex to avoid the problem.

No. Fortunately, my gal isn't into watches at all, so I'm very lucky there...

My wife wouldn't want to be responsible for whatever may happen to it while in her possession. She knows, scratches I put on it are different than scratches she would put on it - in my mind at least lol.

If you've asked me 2 years ago, my answer was 'no way!'.

Now with Covid and working from home with not much travel, I've mellowed down and I'm okay for her to wear if she likes.

I’ve offered to swap watches many times, but she said I am too rough with mine and “look how many scratches yours already has” so I guess I don’t get to rock a dj41 to see how they are….

I have a Lady Datejust 28mm and my wrist is smaller than my husband’s. No way would he be able to wear my watch if he wanted to, which he does not. I let my husband show my watch to my sister and to our Pilates instructor when they stopped by the house. I was upstairs, immobile because of a flare-up of a back injury. They may have each tried on the watch, but I don’t know. I didn’t ask. But, no, I would not let anyone else wear my watch for more than a two-minute try-it-on.

Do you let your spouse or friend with benefits wear your Rolex?

Only once. I wore my Submariner to the hospital. I had to get an MRI. While sitting in the waiting room, I took it off and put it on my wife’s wrist. She smiled, and said, “this is very nice.”

Seems like most replies are from those who favour their watches over their partners!?

Most Rolex watches (on bracelets) however could likely not be worn by 2 people without some adjustments being made. Whilst my wife wears my Nomos that’s on a strap, now probably more than I do, she’s never asked to wear one of my Rolex(s). I’ve asked her to wear them too but she’s just not bothered, she prefers diamond jewellery (unfortunately!)

Missus can really only wear my SD4K due to the glidelock (one more advantage of this bracelet).
Soon to buy Hulk will have this too so she will have 2 to wear.

Absolutely. My wife often wears my no date submariner and looks sexy as hell in doing so (thanks to the glide lock). Her daily is a 2100 series Gshock, I’ll make a WIS out of her if it kills me!

No. The only one of my watches she was really interested in was my Cartier Santos large. I convinced her it was too big for her (which it was) and bought her the medium with some colorful straps. She loves it and it looks great.

I admit I did give her one of my Rolex (TT DJ 36)a few years ago which she wears on a regular basis.

Ditto
Though she has put mine on just to see how absolutely ridiculous a watch that big looks on her.

Wife wore my Pepsi GMT 5 digit for years.

It actually still looks amazing. Probably because it’s old which are brushed.

She moved on since to a TT DJ and Cartier. Both gold bits still look great and she’s not careful at all.

Relating ONLY to my wife for the answer ……
What is mine is hers.
What is hers is hers.

So Yes my wife can wear any of my watches she chooses.

Me and my wife are in this together. She only wears 40mm (and Daytona) size rolexes so we like to switch and just make a great collection with al kinds of models, colors and sizes.

I do if she wants. She wears her Apple watch most of the time but will put on a Submariner on occasion.

My wife has her own Omega. She wouldn’t be interested in wearing a men’s 40mm watch. She’s rather petite and it would look ridiculous.

I will never let my Mrs wear it. I find that woman bang up their watches like nothing else and a brand spanking new watch on Monday would looks like a banged up 5 year old watch by Friday.
