I love the engraving. It elevates it from a watch to an heirloom.

I find the negative comments deeply amusing.

Thanks for sharing all the engraving pics. I’m planning on getting my 126610ln engraved and like seeing how some turned out. Definitely gives me some good ideas.

I have asked Lange whether they could kindly include something personal when engraving the balance cock of my movement (as you know, each Lange has a hand engraved one). They kindly did and now my watch is one of a kind.

I got my engraving when I got the call. As per the AD, it was done using Rolex provided engraving machine.

You can not feel anything to the touch.
Any similarity to yours?

I had mine engraved with "Time waits for no man"
simple reminder to not sweat the small stuff and enjoy the moments.

I’m considering “Bolex” for mine. That’ll make it a keeper; no?

Not as much as people who wear them do. I suggest just buying them and paying the AD to store it in their safe.

I'm thinking "Engraved with love" has a nice ring to it.

Engraving anyone?

I get case backs engraved when I give it as a gift to my kids to commemorate a life milestone. Graduation, getting married, and again with making me some grandchildren. That’s how they gradually inherit my watch collection.
