I would take a black dial Daytona over white but my GOAT Rolex is any plain ole Sub Date.

It wasn’t a Panda, but I sold my Daytona a couple of years ago, always found it too small.

IMO The SS SkyD Blue is probably the best SS Rolex on offer now.

Too many iconic Rolexes out there to give one the GOAT title.

No, i prefer the black one. Which piece is GOAT is also very subjective.

Definitely not. Too busy. I think Rolex chrono is nice but would rather go other brands if I want chrono watch

It’s a good looking watch for sure. I tried on my buddy’s Daytona no for sure it is too small for me. I have 7” wrist. If they make it 41mm they it might be an option. Maybe I should get on the non existent Daytona 41mm wait list now. 😜

For Rolex or any watch brand? I think it comes down to all personal preference.

So many nicer watches than this 43k junk metal stopwatch. The bluesy just to pick one of many.

Had one for less than 6 months and sold it. Bought a rose gold Day Date, recently sold that for a Platinum Day Date.

If the question is it the best Daytona then probably yes. Is it the best Rolex, absolutely not…

Dial is illegible and too small for a chronograph plus no date. And the presidential bracelet is another level vs the Oyster.

Eye of the beholder. To me it’s not a Daytona at all and I’ve got two.
For hype? Ya Daytona.
I’ll take a diver or GMT for “GOAT”

Anyone agree?

The watch I wear on the day is my GOAT.

Not necessarily a Rolex.

Calling any single reference the goat doesn't make sense considering how opinionated watches are

Arguably it falls heavily short on aesthetics, what with the heavily asymmetric meter around the bezel, and a seriously busy dial. Some love that, some don't

It's just as easy to critique every reference for different reasons. The (panda) daytona just happens to be the one with the biggest premium on the GM, that's all

It's the goat in my eyes. That's all that matters. Don't care what anyone else thinks about it. I purchased it for myself with my money. That's all for now.

You have a point, i have the motif Plat DD, for me that and the black Daytona are the perfect 2 watch collection.

I love my yellow OP36 though as my “fun” watch.

I don’t think there is (or has to be) a GOAT watch/Rolex.

My goat watch for sure. Can’t think of any other watch old or new that had this status especially that’s it’s not limited production

It was one of the first “hard to get watch” Rolexes. So it’s the tip of the spear of watch hype. It’s a great watch for many reasons, but minus the hype it’s no GOAT.
