Agreed.

Or, one fantasy poster vs. someone talking sense for the respective market!

Based on all my interaction with AP House in the Uk and several friends trying to buy the Code series I know they are not available off the shelf (so to speak) and are all wait pieces.

Intrigued to know who in the Uk is telling you different chap….thanks.

Does AP bundle?

Fact is for the Uk market with AP today is that is not factual at all so I don’t know where where you’re coming from……Hence the post/query..

That’s it really “bro”

When I registered to the forum I lived in the UK. I am currently out of the UK. Some people also use VPN on their devices. It’s really non of your business or concern where I am tbh. My point being that there are places where codes are widely available.

I haven’t seen you ask me anything, just take shots at me and others on the AP forum. Maybe it makes you feel a bit better. Anyways, next time feel free to PM me and I’ll answer you lol.

And yeah, I have purchased a few time pieces from AP. And no, I didn’t have to bundle mine with codes. But was told it definitely makes a big difference for new comers that want to get into the brand.

I’m sure other members from London will tell you that you’re been played hard in the AP house if you aren’t even offered a code. Maybe your relationship with them isn’t as good as you think

Please don’t tell other members fake info tho.

Lastly, breath. Chill. Don’t get too excited bro. Lol

Thanks for the flipper insult too….great AP insight.

You’re so rude and bitter lol. Bad taste buddy. You could’ve asked nicely. I have a few pieces, last 2 purchases in 2021 were a RO 15500ST and a 15451ST.

Happy?

It actually would be helpful to know where you are based so people can understand geographical differences and if they're looking for a code, could be helpful. But completely your prerogative whether to share or not, so will be respectful of your choice. I think in places like London or NY that might be the case simply because you'll get more people through the door / people who have different tastes

It doesn’t seem like the SG Boutiques appear when you try to book an appointment.

Have had to resort to trying to call / email..

CODE is going to be hard to come by as well, but definitely not as hard as RO.

There is no 1 size fixed all rule. it does not matter which country you are in.

Do you really really really believe these luxury brands instill a no bundle rule and everyone (SA and AD) follows? And do you think if you are a celebrity and u walked in, u need to bundle?

Different rule for different people (Not country). If you are told differently, it is also because your relationship is different from others as well. So no ones really lying here. You were told differently, that is all.

Same for the waitlist.

I think Gary has a bunch of VIP pieces such as a skeleton (in ceramic?) and other hot AP pieces.

Code was available just before Christmas at butcherer in Selfridge but I think they don't sell AP anymore.
From how I read things on this forum owning a code won't do you no harm but I am sure they are aware people are dong the 'I like code' to get the foot in the door. And common sense says to me if they have the choice of supply a particular watch to somebody new or somebody who has bought a 'code' they would probably go with the person who has bought the code.
One because they have met the person and two they have a history.

I spoke to the folks at Liat, will update once I actually attend. Will also be picking up a Patek in Singapore so it’s going to be a great trip.

Nope, just emailed through directly. Took a while for a response which I presume is due to the influx of queries post the 50th anniversary RO announcement

Great. Good luck. If you get Ilyas, he is great. Nice on the PP. Where from?

I live across the street from them.

I got my 15450st back in 2019 from Liar but my sales person has resigned. Need to find a new sales person and maybe should try the MBS one. Anyone friendly there?

Thanks, noted. Picking it up from a family member who bought it during when borders were shut - from the HG I believe.
