Sorry for the delayed reply although I have good news - the watch arrived several weeks ago and I am happy with it. The watch is in really nice condition overall and seems to be running a second or two per day fast. I compared the watch, paperwork, etc. to the pictures initially posted and everything matches up. The watch was originally sold at Tourneau, an AD in California, just minutes away from the shop I purchased it from.

The date is a non-issue and works perfectly fine. Prior to receiving the watch I was prepared to send it into RSC for an overhaul although considering how well it looks and performs there is no need for that. Maybe in a few years I will but everything is just fine right now.

Of course, there are a few other watches I am still interested in purchasing but with Rolex so backlogged I am looking at other manufacturers.
