So everything goes fine credit card goes through and they take my cash no problem now they size the watch and I put it on as I’m going to wear it out. Now me and my wife are sitting there waiting for my SA to come back as she is gone for a extended period of time. When she comes back she tells me that she can’t sell me the watch right now because she can’t finish the warranty paperwork due to a hold on my account (still don’t know what that means) but she will call me on Monday to let me know what the problem is as it’s Saturday. Now I have to take the watch off and they put it in the box and bring it to the back. Now I’m upset and my wife is pissed off and they say that when filling in the warranty info (on the computer) that they can’t complete the transaction because of the hold on my account. In the end about an hour and a half they said I they fixed the problem and I went home with my new watch but does that sound weird to any one.
Congrats OP! Sometimes banks put holds on transactions for large purchases or out of town purchases.
