Maybe a bit small for you….But then again it’s funny to see others complain it’s not 36mm.

I tried one on over the weekend. Cool watch. I really liked the lumed numbers at 12, 3, 6, and 9. The T-fit bracelet is also

I got to try one on and it changed my thoughts on the watch. My first impression when seeing it in photos was that it was to plain. In person the watch has a lot more character and wears very nicely. On the same trip to the ad I was able to try on the 36mm explorer. The explorer was too small for my 7 1/4 inch wrist. Unfortunately the Ranger I tried on was already sold or I would have bought it on the spot, I liked it that much.

I actually liked it less when I saw it in person. Not a watch I'd be interested in. It's not a 39mm Explorer replacement, if that's what one is hoping.

What didnt you like about it when you got to see it? Just curious about your perspective. And I do agree I would take the 39mm explorer if it was still available at msrp. I was seriously hoping the 36mm explorer would fit me but it wasnt even close. It actually wears smaller than a datejust 36 which I can wear without it looking awkward.

The Heritage Ranger is my daily work watch as I’m in and out of construction sites constantly. There is something elegant about the watches simplicity. I can’t decide if I like the end links on the new version or not.

I like the prior endlink verion better since it has more of a vintage vibe plus it's easier to swap out bracelet with straps.

Especially at that price, decent watch that you don't ever have to worry about

James Stacey (TGN Podcast) had a great point about the new Tudor Ranger. He said that if Tudor had announced the specs and price prior to releasing images of the watch, people would have gone crazy for it. Instead, it's very divisive.

I think it's underwhelming in the best possible way - exactly what a field/tool watch should offer.

I've been hearing that A LOT. I have 7.5 and I still would have rocked a 36mm. Love it the way it is too though.

Totally agree. It's a hell of a lot of watch for the price. If it wasn't quite so stark looking, maybe if there had been another line or two of text, people would have gone crazy seeing it too.

Man, idk, haha. I thought it looked pretty good going for a run. I was picturing myself hiking up a mountain as well. I want to get some whiskey dents on it to see how it looks.

I like the looks of it, a lot. I always thought the old one was a ton better in the flesh than pics.

Can't wait to see this one in the flesh, as the pics look pretty darn good.

@My AD: C'mon already.

Ranger on steel after wearing it all day, seems to feel way more loose.

To me, it just looked very flat and plain under the jewelry store lighting (which isn't very flattering for this type of watch IMO). I owned the 39mm explorer 1 a couple times (since sold on), which in the end I also found a bit too plain compared to my 114060.

I don't think it's a bad watch, or an ugly watch, just a very plain watch to my eyes and not something that pulls at my heartstrings. I still think it will be very popular.

Tudor is getting better and better. First the pro, now this.

The refinements are going in the right direction.

Now I just wish they would loose their side profile and work on the caseback

That’s what was great about vintage Tudor. They used the slimmer, Rolex mid-case, but with a flatter, more comfortable caseback than Rolex.

I would love to buy the Ranger but I just bought 2 Tudor watches (GMT and Pro) in a span of 3 months. I want to enjoy these 2 watches before adding a new timepiece in my humble collection.

I've been living under a rock for the last few months (new baby) and missed the launch of this. The reissued Ranger looks amazing, can't wait to see one in person.

I have been wearing this much more than my 39mm Rolex Explorer. I love the brushed metal look. It just feels more casual than my Rolex which I really like.

This thing looks good on pretty much any strap. Have a few coming from Erika's Originals so looking forward to strapping those on too.

It looks very good on that photo, if I had not bought a 36mm Explorer, I would be adding one for sure.
