Personally, I'm a fan of the old Langematik Perpetual. The Sax-0-Mat movement and one-push corrector are an incredible combination. |

The corrector style -- the older protruding rectangular pushbutton corrector vs. the newer recessed circular "toothpick/stylus" corrector -- is a decision that anyone considering the older platinum version needs to make. The platinum version is the only version that came with the two different corrector types. I greatly prefer the rectangular pusher for functional reasons. I rarely wear the watch, maybe every few months, so whenever I do, I push this button maybe 30-60 times. It's much faster/easier than using a toothpick on a recessed pusher. The rhodium dials on the platinum versions also came in two distinctive versions. The earlier version (right) was a more matte grey with an almost pinkish hue. The newer version (left) was a brighter silver color with more contrasting subdials. |

I specifically passed over the old version of the rose gold with the large pusher. |

But I've never heard of or seen a rose gold version (310.032) with a large rectangular pusher. Any chance you still have a picture of that? The rose gold version came out around 2007-8, several years after Lange made the change to the recessed pusher style. I've seen yellow gold versions occasionally mislabeled as rose, which can cause confusion -- you'll see a few of those on the internet. I'm very curious to see a pic of a 310.032 with the old-style large rectangular pusher if you still have one or can find one. The honey gold version (310.050) came out much later (around 2019) and had the recessed pusher. |
