Ok, before I give the sheep rating, I wanted to say that the book was better and there was some disappointment that some things were left out of the movie.

Now for the sheep rating.

I would rate it 4 out of 5 sheep. Baaaa Baaaa Go Go!

This movie might not have as many special effects as the other movies but instead has more depth and is more involved. Instead of just action, this movie brings more drama to the screen. I think it was pretty good except for the deviations of the book which slightly diminishes the movie.

JJ, I told you before to go to theater 4 and not 7! I keep telling you that Harry Potter does not have a new nickname of Bruno!!

Hello Allan,

Thanks for your rating. Your review has now made it a more difficult decision for my wife and I. Let me ask you this, is it worth seeing for $20? Also keep in mind that I get time to see one movie every three months or so...would this be the one for my family to see?

- action, blood and action.

Plus, I don't think I saw even one character with a Rolex on.

There were definitely good placement opportunities in the always obligatory
'Potter swims underwater' sequences, but I could not spot any Sea Dweller
or a Sub, heck not even a Seamaster!

If you saw and loved the other Harry Potter movies, then I would recommend it. Otherwise, in your situation I would say no and just wait to rent the movie when it comes out on DVD. Also, if you do go, I would go to the matinee and pay the cheaper price.

Fair enough. My wife and I are fans of the books and saw all the previous films. We enjoyed the books and the films...with the books always being better, but thats pretty normal as books tend to always be better than their movies. Sunday matinee it is!

Well, Chris......just 'cause I didn't like it, that doesn't mean you and your wife won't. I just gave you a frank and candid report from my angle. You may like it.

I love movies like Transformers which have action with a story line and special effects that are technical and intriguing.

This Harry Porter I found to be very boring and long-winded, that's all.

p.s. I saw the movie and loved it: great, complex plot, a transitional piece that moves the entire HP story towards a conclusion.
