I think the blacksy might appear old. Bluesy is very nice. The gold and blue go very nicely together. I have one and I’m 33. I dont think it looks old. Admittedly, most of the younger folks that I see have LNs and LVs.

I'm an old guy...but I first developed feelings for the bluesy as a young man.

If anything, I wear less gold now, but, the bluesy is such a great watch I think it transcends age.

Gold is no longer just an old guy thing. My first was a bluesey at 30, now 33 and my top two are solid yellow gold pieces.

I'm fairly certain that I'm heading that way but in a few years still. I buy to commemorate milestones but for full gold I'll probably skip the next milestone and buy for the one after. My bluesy came nearly 2 years after the actual milestone I was commemorating lol

A great watch and it works for folks at any age of you like a Submariner and some gold and blue. It is a fun watch and works in so many situations. Go for it.

When I realize my actual age 68 ,not my mindset age 48 i wonder if I'll be around for the "call"!!!

A lot of posts were thinking the age question was for a younger man .

Maybe I'll make the Bluesy my retirement milestone Unfortunately the way the economy is headed I may not be able to retire

Screw it I'll get it and feel retired

Always seem to smile a little when looking at a Bluesy .

Now getting to the age appropriate question - In my mind the Gold or two toned watches seem better suited to those of us with some History under our hats [ old guys lol ]

What's the consensus on the " age " thing ?

Definitely an age thing I think.
I wore steel for years until I tried a bluesy then the bling factor kicked in.
Bluesy became serti became full gold in the space of six months !!
