I was of the belief Rolex was a requirement for proper golfing? I see no reason not too.
Anyway, I can also endorse shooting whilst wearing a Rolex: its not gonna hurt anything. Rolex built their reputation on toughness and water resistance, just because others found a way to make tough watches, too, does not detract from their reliability. We sometimes tend to forget these things because we are obsessive WIS (most of all LOL), and Rolex are regarded more as jewelry these days. Take it along to the links and enjoy my friend! Have no fear, and have a great game!

Just a little careful
I take my IIC off and place it in a felt lined pouch in my golf bag, with nothing else. When I retrieve it after I play, I carefully lift it out of the pouch and then I put it on when my hand is inside the trunk area of my car, just in case it drops, it won't hit concrete. Also, when I clean it in the sink, I put a towel in the sink, in case it slips out of my hand when soapy. Just a little care for an extraordinary timepiece. Other than that, I wear it all the time.

You surely should wear your ROLEX to golf, 'cuz it's simply a beautiful thing.

Catching the club head in a foot of fescue, causing the club head to come to a complete stop, and making you grab your left wrist due to the shooting pain in that region, should not bother your ROLEX!
And you thought you could fly that ball a 150 yds, from the rough, with a 9 iron? |

I wouldn't golf without it. Nothing throws your opponent off his game like gazing longingly at your wrist.

Thanks, Alex.
My cervesa of choice while in Mexico is Sol, but the Dos Equis thing does sound interesting. I could surely tell a story or two.

I like Sexner! Thank God someone answered this with something definitive. This should be a sticky and put an end to all the future CAN I?? Posts.
I can verify a few of these myself, and I'm not the least surprised ROLEX can handle them ALL!! Thanks for your service Sexner and your invited for a cold one if you ever find yourself in West TX. Patrick

Hacking out of the rough 10 or more times in a round is a great way to test your watch.
And boy do i know about hacking out of the rough.

I play competitive/tournament tennis. I have worn my Sub daily for the past 6 months or so with zero issues.

I can't believe i'm saying this since just a few weeks ago I was so anal about my watch, not doing almost nothing that might scratch it or so, but as long as your not diving into a pool of chemicals or boxing, I believe you should wear it for whatever you want. it is a watch and was made for wearing almost all the time
