That said, no question for me than the RG is far superior to the combination of both the Patek and Journe. I have thought about trading for one several times myself, both when they were easily found discounted and more recently. The RG is another level finishing wise from pretty much everything we see on this forum, and it’s a good size with a modern and interesting dial side design.

Good luck with your decision.
Thanks for the insight - let me do some more research regarding the current pricing.
No doubt that RG is on a completely different level in terms of finishing, and the size suits me well too.

Seems RG is THAT good of a watch. Thanks for the nudge!

Absolutely, images you can find online do RG watches no justice... They're that beautiful. Thanks for the input.

I’d vote no. Or trade the fpj plus cash.

Thank you! I'm assuming the 5320 is a watch that I shouldn't let go?

The RG design language doesn’t speak to me but if it did I’d do the trade for sure.

I would say 100% both as an owner of a micro rotor and someone who works for Romain Gauthier. The level of quality, attention to details and craftsmanship is unrivalled by any of the other brands. The Micro Rotor is much more interstate than it seems with a clever rotor winding system with two gear trains and the case itself is a work of art. I’ll be happy to talk more about the timepiece if you need help making a decision.

That trade in an instant. That RG is special and the others are done in the thousands, well perhaps not the FP but probably close. No question. Trade it! But …. only if you love the watch.

Love it- I switch between rubber and leather but I think I prefer the rubber as a daily. The rubber is molded to integrate between the lugs and have no gap between the case and the strap.

I would do the trade, but believe you should also receive cash in the deal based on current market values.

Or trade one watch plus cash.

The Romain Gauthier is definitely the rarest, best finished, and most unique watch here and is a true enthusiast's piece. That written, your proposed trade is not a good deal, financially speaking. I would probably keep the Patek and trade the overhyped quartz Journe and add some cash. If you wanted to get rid of both pieces, I'd want cash back.

I tried one out in person and I think it’s a little boring compared to the L1. Don’t get me wrong, great watch, it’s just that the Logical 1 felt like 5x the watch for just a little bit more $.
