Well in a world where you can choose to be anything…why not choose to be kind

My kindest reaction in this ugly baby situation would be saying nothing. I cannot go beyond my conscience to lie.
However the situation in this thread is different. I didn’t say nor did I think a Tudor is ugly, I’m just saying it’s plenty out there, for $3000 walk in walk out you can get any of its kind. I just don’t understand the hpype

This is a watch forum, the man has just got a new watch and we are happy for him.

Maybe you should join a different forum if you don’t like people sharing their new watch stories

Try walking into AD in Canada and walking out with an FXD

Sure the wait may be short but I highly doubt they’re sitting in display cases

Maybe just try to be kind instead of poopooing someone's happy incoming? Plus - go and show me ANY AD where you walk in and the FXD is sitting in the window ready to be picked up. Doesn't happen. There are few made and they are in pretty solid demand, even though the premium isn't huge on the grey market. AKA comparable to Rolex GMT II's around 2017 (if we remember that far back...).

Congrats OP - it's a pretty watch for a compelling price point!!

Frankly sometimes I laugh at this forum. Rolex releases a YMII in "RLX titanium" for the piddly sum of $14k and the crowd here goes nuts for the amazing innovation Rolex displays. Tudor sells the FXD or the Pelagos in full titanium for $4k and people get snickered at for being happy to get one...

Just got back and put it on. I haven't bonded with it just yet. But I'm sure we'll be good buddies in time.

Congrats mate. I friend of mine is nuts for this. I’d asked in many AD’s and not even a chance to buy it. At least couple of them wrote down my request

Not sure which part of Canada you live, I literally walked out of a Rolex AD in southern Ontario yesterday turning down a FXD.

We don't need this behaviour on the forums. Congratulations to the OP. The first watch is always so special. West in good health.

I get it. You’re butt hurt because you bought a TT 36mm lady DateJust (which still looks big for you by the way) with diamonds . Maybe you should’ve gone for a 31mm?

Is that woke enough for you?

36mm looks big on me in picture but perfect in real life. I don’t need your approval to that.
I admit I didn’t want diamonds to start with, but I don’t mind having it at the end and throwing away couple of thousands dollars more, which can buy a Tudor probably. I know you are hurt because likely you have a Tudor.

By the way you are insulting a large crowd here calling 36mm dj a lady dj.

Now your “buying story” thread makes more sense. Just as I suspected, the AD is not the problem, you’re just a dick.
