None of us are naive to the fact that many models hold their MSRP value (or higher) over the years, but that’s not why the majority of us have bought the Rolex or Rolexes we own.

If you’re solely interested in purchasing to invest, your questions will be better answered on an investment forum, Reddit thread, etc. If you actually want to buy a watch to wear and enjoy, and are just curious which models might retain the most value over time, then you’ll want to rephrase your question accordingly.

I have Rolex, Omega, Seiko, Tag.....I bought all of them at various times in my life because I like watches and like wearing them.
I don't really care about the investment side of things, and in fact never thought or considered it in any of my purchases.
I just like watches and want to wear the ones that I like, I wouldn't buy one that was "okay" because it is a better investment...

Exactly. Been investing in watches since the early 1990s, and their return financially is second only to soy beans and pork bellies, and their return emotionally is second only to my yacht.
