Did your watch come with stickers from trusted seller BNIB?
It is my understanding that a grey dealer gets his brand new stock out the back door, of a disreputable AD, who should not be selling to him. In most cases, the stickers will have been removed. He then resells the watch to one of us. It remains brand new and unworn, until one of us purchases it. I, personally, consider that a brand new, unworn wrist watch, that has simply been passed through several hands. I have seen watches advertised as fully stickered, but that’s the exception, not the rule. Having recently purchased a watch, from an AD, I never saw the stickers. They had been removed, before the watch was presented to me, and before sizing. So, to say the only way to buy a “new” watch, is from an AD, is misleading.
OP, if you bought from one of our trusted sellers, and were told the watch is brand new/unworn, trust that it is! Congrats to your daughter! Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Your understanding is wrong. Grey’s get their stock from flippers mainly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Maybe. I am going, by my own experience, having purchased several dozen brand new Omegas, from a grey market dealer, who bought them directly, from an Omega AD. All were BNIB, and fully stickered. Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Stickers don't authenticate a watch. Buying from a reseller and you will likely get the watch the way they got it, they don't usually put stickers back on.

Thank you so much everyone for your help with confirming what was told to me.
My last purchase was six years ago from a trusted seller here and it did have the stickers. |

AD's remove the stickers now and have for a few years. A secondary market sourced watch may be unworn or claimed to be unworn but it's still a "used" watch that someone purchased from the AD and traded or sold to the grey dealer. Inspect it very closely if you expect a watch in true BNIB condition.

Nope past few watches they removed it, no big deal to me as I watched them do it and they were super careful

The BLNR in my avatar pic came from Watchfinder with a full set of stickers in 2021.
From my understanding that is a rarity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Inspected with a magnifying glass. Beautiful and pristine. Time for my daughter to get some scratches of her own. I was happy to be able to facilitate this for her and she is super happy.

Great news! Cool to see that I’m not the only woman with a set of Watch tools.

My AD removes stickers at point of purchase. If someone was to sell a watch originally supplied by my AD it would not be stickered.
I have bought two Rolex from the secondary market. Both were fully stickered. |

My AD removed most of the stickers when they sold me my 40mm slate Yacht-master. I think there were 2 left. All hang tags and white tag, but no outer box sleeve or bezel protector.
