Anyway, my personal preference is the brighter hue of the MK2. Its more a yellow green than a blue green and reminds me more of the original 5 digit LV and less of cheap plastic garden furniture.

This watch is stunning. After I get my black sub this one might be next.

I think the real question is whether the Pepsi will ever get their bezel to be blue and red and not purple and purple. One day.. one day.

Great, thanks for that - I'm now forever going to think of the "emergency" green plastic garden furniture my parents had back in the '90's!

I vote for the newer green because it no longer looks like the Starbucks logo colors. It also better represents the original Kermit.

Didn’t think it was going to be this close! I’ve yet to see the MKII in person but I personally think the shade of green on my MKI is perfect; it’s a subdued, pastel, forest green that looks more like the trademark Rolex green. The lighter MKII green looks cheap and contrasts too much with rest of the watch.

Of course the MK1 is leading. There are more MK1s in the wild. Are we pretending that people aren't just voting for the watch they own? Ha!

Prefer MK1 as it is darker than MK2

Or…..they could be voting for the MK2 because it is new and “newest” has its own allure in Rolex land.

I saw the MK2 on display this week and think it looks great. Also been on the waitlist so long it’s the only one I have a very small chance of getting.

Definitely the Mk2. I never liked the Mk1, it was too dark and flat. The mk2 green has a bit more vibrancy to it which gives a bit more contrast to the black so the whole thing pops more.

Here is the (greatly debated) MKII as picked up yesterday fresh from my AD. As you can see (and as others have stated in previous posts) the watch looks different under different lighting.

That being said, “MK” argument aside, I just love the 126610LV.

I own the first version so that's what I voted for! I love it so much I have just put my name down for a black sub as well. AD was shocked I have gone this way.

In the real world, away from here and Bark and Jack videos, no one can tell the difference!
One of the reasons I love this Forum is because a group of people, lots of whom admit to be struggling to tell the time on a Daytona, debate the different shade of green on the LV. Makes me chuckle.
