I think the TT execution on the Santos is nice. If I ever get a second "nice" watch it will be a Santos. Just completely different than Rolex. And nothing else like it.

That being said I think there is something about the Daytona that lends itself to looking great in TT.

To me, the white stick dial and yellow gold fluted bezel is ROLEX to me.

My favorite two tone for now is the seadweller 43. Love the size and look on my wrist.
Looking to also get the TT rootbeer and yachtmaster 2 44mm in TT as well. :)

This is not necessarily my last word in TT matters, as i can really only speak for those i am experiencing dayly. One that stunned my wife and myself is her 126231 with a slate dial. It came unexpectedly to say the least. Basically we went to the AD to place an order for her for a 126234 with silver dial, and the saleslady , wearing a (hardly recognisable, last pic) 116513 took out the 126231 and some other diamond set reference just to make sure 36 would be the right size. It definitely was, and with a cheeky smile the lady added that well…this would actually be available! Neddless to say that…

As for my GRNR, well it’s maybe too recent to be a classic, or is it ?Not the first of its kind (think 116713) but still… . I don’t want to be overly lyrical on this, but just awesome combination for an already awesome watch!

My lone foray into two-tone territory was briefly owning a chocolate dial rose gold Datejust 41. Absolutely beautiful watch, but I quickly figured out the hard way two tone, and rose gold in particular was not for me. Off it went.

I've never owned a TT Rolex but my favorites would probably be the TT Blue Sub and DJ on jubilee with champagne dial and fluted bezel.

Bluesy is the ultimate bi-colour watch. Some say it’s an 80s coke dealer’s watch…. Some say it’s too flashy. All rubbish.
Bluesy for the win!
