One "Grail" or 4 lesser watches

Price point really doesn't matter - Could be a $20K grail or 4 $5,000 watches or a $50K Patek vs 4 $12,000 Rolex. You get the point

So I am perfectly content with the collection I have.

That said, like most of us here, I love every watch I see and always want another one.

Just don't want to allocate funds right now for anything else right now.

So it was me thinking, do I hold out for the one big purchase or feed the addiction with a smaller piece every year over the next 4-5 years?

What have you all done?

I can argue both sides, Buy 1 heavy hitter and be done or 4 lesser, but nice watches and have flexibility and less risk if one gets lost, damaged or worse.

Thoughts?
