Discontinue soon ? You sure ? Now on yellow gold , I still believe they will do runs in other metals .. Platinum , Rose , maybe even TT ..

LeMans without hesitation. The Rainbow is not my style, it is a watch I would never wear.

I don’t wear flashy jewelry anyway…my wedding ring is a plain gold band. So, between the 2, it would be Le Mans.

I would absolutely love the Platona, but too many people know what it is and I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing it in public. Los Angeles today is most certainly not the Los Angeles of my youth…

LM for me.

It's funny because objectively the Platona shouldn't be a flashy watch. White metal, not bejeweled (except dial markers but they are tiny). Yet it is flashy. I've only seen one in the wild but I could tell what it was from 20 feet away. It's very distinctive.

I have worn one every day for the last 7 + years and had maybe three comments on it. True, some folks might notice and not say anything, but to 99.9% of the population, it is unremarkable (IMO).

Recent story: sitting around after tennis with a bunch of guys and one of them, a casual friend of mine who I've seen on 3 or 4 social occasions and a bunch of tennis games, mentions that the only reason guys buy expensive watches is to impress other guys. Now I wear an Apple watch for tennis, but a Daytona everywhere else. So he's seen it on me multiple times. But never noticed...

Oh no doubt. That's why I said objectively not flashy. I probably just noticed because it's something of a grail watch for us Rolex types.

Rainbow.

The Le Mans isn't attractive to me. I'd never wear it.

The Rainbow is beautiful. I'd wear it but just for private enjoyment, not in public.

Each has its place.

The 100 anniversary model has loads of nostalgia for me despite it being an homage of the original exotic dial Daytona.

The Rainbow is iconic in its own right for over the top gems. It says a load about style and trend.

For me it's the Le Mans but unobtainable.

I have doubts the WG Le Mans is actually discontinued, it may be just off catalogue like the YG Le Mans.
