For 19 years I've refused to remove my Rolex Sub when using impact wrenches, open end and torque wrenches, framing and sledge hammers, circular saws, grinders, sanders, hammer drills, miter saws and tile wet saws. I've also refused to remove it when traveling all over the US, living in multiple states, traveling to the Far East including Japan, Korea, Australia, various Pacific islands, Europe including England, Scotland, Ireland France (love Paris!), Spain, Italy, Monaco, Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Southwest Asia including Bahrain, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, etc. I've worn it in many oceans and seas, dozens of large cities including many of the world's largest. I've left it on for hiking, swimming, shooting, golfing, playing horseshoes, shoveling and using a pick mattock, using an adz and a froe, pouring concrete and laying brick and tile, working with a tractor, managing nuclear reactor servicing including refueling and defueling reactor cores, and working in and inspecting dozens of industrial facilities all over the world. I've worn it for hundreds of flights at up to and over 40,000 feet, and in submarines (classified depths). In short, I only remove it to sleep at night. It has a couple of scratches but you'd have to look very closely to find them. And you know what? I wouldn't trade a minute of wearing it while living my best life. My history of wearing it is an integral part of its value to me. I hope you can enjoy yours as much as I have mine.

It's a watch my friend!
It's made to be worn. If you ask yourself so many questions what's the point of buying a Rolex?
Reading certain comments, having a Rolex is more of a burden than a pleasure.
