If I ever buy a neo vintage it would be 16610 LV the original 2003 Kermit or the zenith Daytona. Funny enough I had both of these back in 2008 and sold them. Now I have the modern versions of both

I agree, get the oyster bracelet as well and you have 6 different watch variations with one watch. The SEL with lug holes are the series A, P, K, Y of the 16710 model. I am on the lookout for one myself.

I love my TT Serti Sub but a Kermit would be my next choice.

I'd go Kermit from what you are considering or a pre-ceramic Daytona if you up the budget.

I think the Kermit is a steal of a price today. Putting the flat 4 aside, since I don't care for that premium.

If I were to choose for collectability, rarity, long-term value, and overall charm, I'd go for the Kermit.

I personally love my 16710 coke but would encourage you consider a nuance. In the window of 2000 - 2003, you had solid end links and the cases had holes. That to me is the pinnacle of the neo-vintage era. The holes preserve the tool watch vibe and is true to the original and the solid end links make for a wonderful bracelet.

Out of the 3, I would go Kermit.

Overall, I would figure out which model you prefer in the 5 digit era and go for the best example of that, regardless of rarity and collectability. Get what you actually like and want to wear.

I tend to agree with the others here. GMT II 16710 or the earlier GMT 16700. I also like the Submariner Anniversary model 16610LV.

You can add the black insert to the 16610LV and a jubilee if you wanted. I found myself not ever switching these things round. I just switch watches.

My pick would be 16610lv or 116520 white. Good value for the Daytona tbf.

Old age, pal. Slipping due to old age.

Doing well, my friend. Hope the same for you. I just never knew how busy retirement could be.
