Just 'cause she shows a pic of her watch, why would you even think of suggesting that she wanted to flip one of her watches?

She's just happy to be showing it off to all of us, that's all!!

Cheers - JJ

JJ I took your advice and got my first sports model (116710) which I can't seem to take off now but here is one pic for you. I love my 116231, however my 116234 will always have a special place in my Rolex rotation!

The size of the DJ is just perfect, for me at least!! Even though I am into sports models. DJ II is way too much.

Hey Datejust1 when did you get your DJ fixed? I thought it took a header off a balcony a while back.

Well, you almost got it right. If you just delete the word "dress" from the quote above, you will have discovered what I came to understand 35 years ago when I bought my first TT DJ.

That is beautiful, Alan......but if and when I get mine, it will POSITIVELY be on the Super Jubilee bracelet - that's the bracelet I really, really want.

I like the older 36mm size but I honestly haven't tried the DJ II yet. My guess is that I would want to continue with the 36mm size, because I think some watches on the market at the moment are too large. 36mm is especially nice if you are wearing it in formal or semi-formal settings because you don't want to stand out too much.

Was on a flight to Milwaukee Friday sitting next to a very large guy, about 6'3" and over 250 lbs. We were in a tiny plane and both miserable. I happen to catch the crown on his watch clasp and found he was wearing a rather new 36mm DateJust. It looked great on this big guy. I had to start the conversation and the rest of the flight was all smiles for us both.

Mine isn't a TT but it works for me. Check out the TT Rose Gold or Pink Gold or whatever it is called. Those are pretty stunning.
