I joined the club yesterday, with a "little" present to myself. My first new Rolex purchase.

i got totally fixated on the 116610lv last year....i tried to fight it.....i just couldn't resist the self imposed deprivation i induced....i think you either like it or not...but the first time i saw the green on green i thought 'holy crap'....it was history since then....

this is the only pic i have of it, along with litter mates the yachtie and my original 1984 gmt master (which needs a restoration)....

The LVc has quietly become my favourite SS Rolex piece and your pic is validation, Cru. Two thumps up.

Adding a fresh pic....

, Phong, thanks. Great picture as well.

It's been over a year and half for me with the LVc, and I still love it like the first day. Actually, even more. It happens way too often that I stop and admire it.

This would be what I would do... I can't stand the green dial (sorry guys) but I do like the green ceramic bezel... How hard was it to source the black dial?

I am buying the green date wheel from the 116718. It works with the 3135 movement. You should take a look at that. IMO it would look SICK if you added that green date wheel with that black dial.

Then my next mod will be the glass back from Thomas Priek.

The HULK.

Thevenin.....nicely done (yet again and again and again).

For me, just a random break at a café with the iPhone before continuing with the Saturday chores.

I joined the club on 2/1/14. The plan was to own it for a while and then flip it, but I've fallen so hard for it that I don't know if I can be so cold blooded!

The pitiful lume shot is the Hulk next to my beloved Bond Seamaster GMT.

I love the video on you tube that show the Rolex plant and how they make the ceramic bezel.

Quick Question

Is the band on the g series 116610lvc suppose to have any serial numbers on it or not?
i'm talking about the new " glide lock band", I think thats how you call it?
cause mine has no numbers on it , where the older bands have the 93250 serial # on them. The new one's seem to only have markings on the clasp.

What Comic book Villain would you name 116610LVc?

I was wondering f you had to pick a Villain to name the Green Gold after Who would it be?

I was thinking GReeN GoBbLin
