Milgauss and AK (just not my thing), along with a Daytona (wears way too small for my wrists).

Would never buy a Celini, Milgauss, air king, any Yacht Master and any Daytona- just don’t like the look of them.

Correct. Add daydate to that too, and datejust and deep sea.
Infact, just add anything that isn't a Submariner, GMT, or ExpII.

To be sure, I love almost all Rolex references. There are only a handful that are not for me, including:

Womens models (obviously)
DateJust - greasy old man vibes, not pleasing to the eye
Daytona - too small, no date, poor legibility, 0% practical application, less durable than other options.
OP - great history but kinda boring and not as good a value as other references.

Watches I love love love: Sub, GMTII, Sea-Dweller, DeepSea, YM, SkyDweller, Milgauss, Explorer II, and most 18kt gold references.

Cheers,
B

For myself, I would never buy any two-tone YG/RG Rolex, or any Rolex with diamonds on the case, bezel or bracelet. With few exceptions that can pull it off (Johnny Depp-like bohemians), I generally dislike bling and sparkly jewelry on men.

I don't like:
>YMII
>Celini
>Milgauss
>Dwellers (also Sky- and especially the "way out of line" DSSD, IMHO)
>Daytona

I only like the OP39 and the Explorer. I like simple, no date, no big bezel, and can be worn with anything.

I have owned almost every SS model at one point and could never fall in love with any of them. I sold them all and won't be going back.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I'm not 100% sold on the Explorer II

Never want the air king.

Tastes change but I couldn’t see me going after a Pearl master or Cellini any time soon. Can add the Serties dials too.

I wouldn't like to wear:

1- any Cellini, I think there are nicer & cheaper dress watches available
2- the YM2, I think it's gaudy & huge
3- current AK, way too much going on & it seems like a hodgepodge
4- SkyD, same as the YM2, I think it's too busy & too big
5- "regular" OPs, too boring to me
6- DJs without fluted bezels
7- DSSD, too big for me

I have the YMII on my list but ONLY because of its size. If it were a 40 to maybe a 41 I would be all over it!!
