If only it were mine.

They really are nicer in the flesh - my opinion. I was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes a watch “sings” when wearing and sometimes not… this one sung to me so may be a future add.

I feel the swiss movement looks slightly nicer. Overall great watch, I still prefer older actual obnoxious MAD 1.

The Mad1S came out looking real nice, but I’m quite happy with my Lucky Clover and for me 1 watch in this novelty is enough. Hodinkee mentioned in their article that the Mad2 is coming soon. But anyway I wish all those that are entering good luck and good fortune.

I tend to agree. Love my lucky clover. And while slim looks great, not sure it’s worth the trade off of giving up the separate minutes track. Now if I didn’t already own one, I’d enter the lottery in a heartbeat.

I hope I win this time...or they have another lucky clover type of thing soon for those who lost out on most of the raffles (but forgot to enter into 1 of them) like me

So there is a purple and a blue version? How do you choose which one you want when you enter the lottery?

You don’t purple is reserved for tribe & friends. The blue is for the rest of us

They said the luck clover type thing was a one time thing—but maybe they will give those that have missed out and never won will start to get even more entries as time goes by. But price increases could thin things out over time too.

What kind of Bolshevik system is this? Reserves for the elite and a lottery for everyone else?

Don’t see the appeal of these, other than kind of being MB&F’s Moonswatch. But: good luck to those who want one. It’s certainly a fun piece and great value.

Agree with this. I too am enjoying my lucky clover. In a weird sort of way the thickness adds to the craziness of the piece, it’s all a bit much and in your face which is the allure of it to me and separates it from mainstream timepieces.

I am sure the slim version fits nicely and the swiss movement does look better. Get one if you can!

I have the red and enjoy it. It attracts a lot of attention from watch enthusiasts, but not from people who don't know what it is.

Having said that, I'm passing on this one. I don't fully know why, but, I guess it just doesn't excite me that much.

Why assume the green had 3000 units shipped? I always assumed they were discontinued at 1500
