I prefer Rolex, since it only produces watches so I consider this a proper watch company.

Whereas Cartier is more of a fashion house.

Cartier is essentially a jewelry company as stated above. Easy decision, the Rolex. Don't get me wrong, Cartier makes great jewelry, leather goods, etc.

When I think Cartier... I think of a nicely dressed grandmother who wears too much perfume... so by mere association, I am left with the DJ to recommend.
