Sub-C... you could have diamonds on the last one!

Sub-C... the old one was pretty expensive too!

im not being funny guys but all this oh its not as tool any more because....
a) the bezel
b) its all blingy
c) its more expensive

come on guys.
a) the bezel may have a chance of cracking thats it just a chance! its not a definite! also the bracelet and clasp have been improved.
b)really? blingy? sort it out, plenty of Certi etc dialed old ones out there!
c) its a rolex the last one was plenty expensive aswell!

Introducing the Rolex Submariner-C. You better get used to it, we're not making the other one anymore.

Rolex Sub-C: extol the old and belittle the new (at least until the left over stock is sold!)...

Thankfully, I don't wear my daddy's old watch or his old clothes!

Yes, I think that will work well...though depending on who clicks on what thread, we may dilute the overall results.

I reckon there is value to a thread like, "if Rolex commissioned the forum to write ad copy" with serious stuff and "best Sub-C pickup lines" with silly stuff.

I'll work on it with coffee on Sunday morning. Fun!

Ah... nice, in the timeless words of Dylan. I can think of 7 more Dylanized canidates...

Sub-c, with God on our side.

Sub-c, I want you.

Sub-c, when the ship comes in.

Sub-c, restless farewell.

Sub-c, it ain't me babe.

Sub-c, workingman's blues #2.

Sub-c, when the deal goes down.

Any last-minute Sub-c motto submissions for tomorrow's TOP TEN list polls?

Guys... we are looking for serious or funny.

Yes, please pile them into this thread! I'm in east coast time and it is nearly 1 am and my bedtime. I will be enjoying strong fresh ground organic coffee within the next 7 hours and the two polls will start. I will be picking ~10 from each category (SERIOUS & SILLY), so don't miss out. Rolex is watching and it is possible that the poll winner might get a free Sub-C. If not, they will at least have a chance to buy their own!

Yes, the legal department in Geneva just called. Any 'official' motto that is posted here will be subject to compensation if Rolex decides to use it in future advertisements. Reimbursement in the form of a Sub-c could potentially be 'worked' into the contract. All submissions posted within this thread shall be considered a Letter of Intent - intent on maintaining the legal rights to such motto.

Geneva is WATCHing.

Many things in the world are timeless, such as polo shirts, and black tuxedos with white dress shirts. The New Rolex Oyster Perpetual Submariner Date Ref.116610 is also timeless timepiece, it is very true to the first submariner released in 1954. It can be used as a dive watch during the day, and a dress watch during the night.
