I always wanted a mil Sub. But could non get one cheap.
Now I know the way. I buy a metal detector and "fish" around the Greek islands. Thousands of kilometers of coasts, millions of people pass by, many wear Rolexes, some loose them, so I stand a great chance of finding one. But what if I find a gold DD, or a SS DJ, or a GMT ? Simple. I throw it back in the water for the next chap that is looking for such a watch. I will remain focused to my target. A mil Sub !!

I lost my 5513 in Pensacola diving 17 years ago. As well mind was on a Nano strap. I think the strap broke wile I was working on my spear gun. I love my 16600 on a Nano but I just don't trust them anymore. My first Rolex at the bottom of the sea...

Where did he go? Errrr me not buying it. Too many fakes out there! Wrong bezel insert on your picture too. Milsub circle tight--one being from Australia--Buddy Jedly--he would have found it first as he is great Milsub hunter!!

I can't figure out why someone would bother posting that, & then not respond to anything after that? Seems like a waste of time, except has all of us responding, so maybe that is the desired result?

Do you guys Realize the original "poster" has not been back since his first post? He's got you guys all shooting at each other and he's long-gone. He started the arguments and left the bar. ???

IMHO, he didn't really start any arguments. In fact, he started a rather amusing thread. It has been quite fun to read through all this nonsense and get a small laugh. Highly amusing. I do wish that he would return so that I could wire that money to him.

It was fun ...
Just any of us only had to google the number on his case back : 0552/923-7697 599/76 and we would have found this ebay listing : http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBMARINER-WAT...#ht_500wt_1156 |
