Be kind- my first nice watch I got senior year of high school- It was a Cartier Pasha 38mm, automatic, removeable grid on a navy blue gator strap -deployant buckle.

Yes, my first luxury watch was a pre-loved Rolex Submariner Date.

My first post!
When i was 15/16 i saved up for a year with money i won clay pigeon shooting and i bought a pre loved sub non date. It was a great watch. A year or so later i sold the sub and an Omega De Ville i had won shooting on a school trip to London. I bought a Ford Sierra with the money from the sale of the watches, and i was happy at the time as a teenager i needed a car.Two weeks later the car blew up on the motorway and i was left with no car and no watches! It was seikos for a while after that untill i bought an Explorer 2 new 10 years later. I really regret selling both watches now.

Not luxury to the masses, however, luxury to me at the time... My first timepiece was a Mikey Mouse (white dial, with Mikey motif with moveable hands, black leather strap) watch by Lorus my Mom purchased for me when I was in the second grade! I wish I still had that watch!

I started with a Tag also. I thought a rolex was an old mans watch (I was in my mid 20's). Twenty years later vie changed my mind(or I've gotten old).

NICE! I still have mine. Mum got it for me at Consumer's Distributing. I gave it to my wife, and she wears it now and then..

Rolex is considered as a "best & most expensive watch" between amateurs (not only in our country, it's worldwide). So I always thought, that Rolex is for people with no idea and imagination. I thought, that a real watch fan must be more expert.
My first luxury watch was Moonwatch with moon phase, is gone. My best combo was from HH category - Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Grand Date and Breguet Aeronavale Type XX LE, both are gone...

I don't know why, but with a simple Submariner I am much more happier. And I feel that one Rolex isn't enough. I really need some vintage from '75

I had a tag first, but I always thought they were middle of the road.

Always wanted a rolex and got one in the end, now hopefully moving up to a day date. Was hoping to get one before my holidays in three weeks, but we'll see :)

I have always loved watches, it was a something I picked up from my father. I would stop by AD's and drool at all of the magnificent pieces. I did feel that many who bought and wore Rolex where people who just wanted to show off and did not know as much about watches. How things change!

In order of purchased
1.Movado
2.Breitling- I love this company- sent me chocolates and a hat for christmas
3.Cartier
4.Omega
5.Rolex

In the last few years I try to add a new time piece every year, some years I have bought for family members and skip myself. I have an open mind and like to buy all kind of watches. Currently my collection is compromised of Cartier and Rolex
