I agree 100%. I love this watch and consider it the grail of all of Rolex's models. I'd settle for platinum as well. Only if someone twisted my arm

X2, it's a beauty!! Saw one on the wrist of Jason Bateman on oscar night, being hot with the rich and famous makes it all the harder for any of us to get our hands on one reasonably

The proper Paul Newman watch did not have screw down pushers . Screw down pushers did not come in till the late 1970s with the 6263/5.And the so called Paul Newman would have square markers within the sub registers, and the earlier real Newman Chronographs had just simple round pushers.Look and learn below is what they call a Paul Newman or with the white/black combination dial,or any other exotic three colour dial type plus folded link riveted bracelet. The one in your picture is a late 1970/80s 6263.

It would be a solid gold Daytona with a paul newman dial. I thinks that's how they call it
It's the dial used on the solid gold daytona with the black circles

Hmmmmm, too many to choose from but I'd say top of the list are PT DD or YG GMT IIc!

Either a red lettered sub or a WG GMT II-C with diamonds and black sapphires, black face with ice on the bracelet.
