This is my story with Rolex...
When I was in middle school, I had a teacher that wore a 16753 GMT black nipple dial on jubilee everyday. I always admired his watch, and got to the point where he would let me wear it from time to time during class. I knew then, I had to have one just like it. When I went to work for the railroad, I was able to buy my first Rolex, but the only thing I could find was a 16803 Submariner. I wore it for a number of years, and enjoyed it. Through a series of horse trades, I was finally able to aquire my personal grail, the Rolex 16753 GMT Master black nipple dial with the jubilee bracelet. I know this is going to be a watch I will never let go of. Jarrett |

Congrats, Moviefreak! I didn't see the thread until just now but my pic wouldn't have beaten that one anyway. Here it is, regardless...
This was the first good shot I got of my watch after I bought it in January (can you tell it's January? ). I liked the fact that the rubber strap turned out to be an unexpected good match to the watch, which people don't typically wear on rubber. I knew I must have gotten a good shot when people started PMing me to ask where they could buy the strap.

Thanks a lot.... I love that picture...
It is the GMT over the Basel Bronze Paperweight and the background is just a leather jacket I liked... Nothing special about the lights used.. It is just a flash pointing up to the ceiling of the room and the light bounces back to the watch.. After that I believe I used a little photoshop to add a little sharpness and a light effect to give more power to the main subject... Cheers, Eduardo
