My wife and I have an eclectic collection of stuff. Our house is Martha Stewart meets the Smithsonian, but since lighting appears to be a theme, I rescued two of these from a church being demolished in 70's.

(#2 Avengers in near mint cond.)

Approx. 800,000 year old hand axe, from the Sahara, made and likely used by Homo Erectus.

T-Rex tooth (Carcharodontosaurus)

Black pearl and Damascus auto, handmade.

400 million year old trilobite plate

8-10 million year old giant Megalodon shark tooth

I could do this all night, that's why my wife hates me.

So let's see your stuff!

where in the world do you get these stuff?

Wow Paladin! That is quite a collection!

Somehow I think some of those might have shown up in a couple of movies...

Steve
I actually do have a little hobby business remting my and my friends ( its a very small community worldwide) WW2 armor out to film and promotional projects. None of these vehicles have been in a major film. A few have been in some history channel productions.

Funny, this time of year I field requests from wealthy kids and their parens looking to "rent a tank" for prom....lol. Needless to say the costs, logistics and insurance requirements end those dreams fast....

Wow, take a tank to a prom. My shotgun on my lap wouldn't be that impactful if a boy dating my daughter showed up in one of those...

IMO nothing in this thread comes close to Paladin's collection of armored vehicles.

Currently I collect something a lot more trivial, blu-ray discs.

Nice fossil collection Megalobyte.
I used to do a bit of fossil hunting when I was young and still living in Africa.
Probably my best find to date would have been a complete lystrosaurus skull. Although I found plenty of ammonites and even a glossopteris seed!

If you get a chance its worth hunting your own fossils down, it’s incredibly rewarding.

I SOOOO want to drive that Hetzer.

I collect tanks to, but the plastic model types. They store more easily.

Been a firearms collector for a long time. Just sold a few to help finance my new 14060m. Still have a bunch. Just got into pens. Own two MB's. Looking for a non MB but quality fountain pen to add to my collection. Any suggestions?

I collect guitars and movie props. However, I have been consumed by watches recently and haven't collected anything else.

Wow crazy collection Paladin

I don't really collect anything in isolation or to extreme (perhaps I've gone a bit over the top on watches recently.....) and of course property but that's more of an investment although I've collected a hell of a lot of kitchens and bathrooms over the last 10 years.......

But I do try to collect interesting things as and when I see them so have a few vintage guitars including a 60's Telecaster, a classic British TR6 sports car, a very old BSA air rifle - actually called "The BSA Air Rifle", a very old crystal and brass cased cigar lighter which seems to work on some sort of magnetic coil system, old ivory and gold walking sticks and bull whips, a few victorian oil lamps, crystal vases with silver tops, old mirrors etc etc.... you get the idea My place in London was built in 1851...... but I've had it completely modernised but keeping original features like the fireplaces, doors, brass handles, cornices etc so just have a few items of "age" to add interest.

I've also got a collection of about 10 David Woodlock water colour paintings from the 19th century at my Mother's house as she also likes to collect them
