WG Sub

I own both the YM II and the WG Sub, and most people compliment me on the WG Sub, and I never hear much on the YMII if that means anything. Personally, I like them both but prefer the WG Sub.

Both are great watches! But the blue sub looks better for me

That blue sub is just amazing. The YMII is a little busy to me, but if you want to look like a Yacht Master that's definitely the watch!

Question about the the WG in the blue sub...what are the advantages over the steel Rolex uses in its other utility watches? I'm assuming there's the prestige value of having a true jewelry piece, the sense of keeping value through pure gold, anything else?

I would normally agree with you Eddie and think the YM-II is a wonderful timepiece but it's too big for my tastes, therefore my vote goes for the WG Submariner in this particular case (unless the YG version is an option).

honestly they are both great watches!! I recently have found myself wearing the YM due to its size and presence. Going back to the sub size for me starting to feel small. but both get alot of wrist time. the YM is the only one commented on by people everytime its on. the sub much more subtle.

I don't think the YM2 was getting much love on this forum until recently. It seems to be growing on people.

I've been trying to diversify a little beyond Rolex lately. However it's only a matter of time before I get sucked back in.
