hook is set your mind will not rest till you acquire it..I go through this with a lot of things i like and want not need just want ..if I go to sleep thinking about it and wake up thinking about it I test my self and restraint give it a week if you still have it on your mind in the morning and night then you will end up buying it..good luck and happy hunting..

Ultimately, it's about the money, isn't it.
Not so much on whether you've got the money but whether you can justify spending it on another watch.
Your life responsibilities come into it and whether there are more important things that should take precedence.
For me, it would be madness to have 20K + tied up in watches and live in a rented house or drive an unreliable car, or have a family member that needed dental treatment.
I can only consider another watch because all the responsibilities are looked after, but even then there's a limit imposed by my personal assessment of what is a reasonable amount of money to have tied up in watches.
If I was to win the lottery however, all the numbers would change.

Good point Rock. Ive just bought my first Rolex, a subc, and just put together a budget plan to buy the TT GMTc, and then Im hoping two will be enough because if I add up the total spend its kinda hard to justify, altho I keep telling myself they are Rolexes and if I need to sell Ill only take a small loss so really Im not spending all that much and enjoying the money on my wrist rather than it just sitting in a bank.

I think my therapist will buy that, right?

I struggle daily with this very question. Rolex sport watches are so similar to each other, yet have so many totally different details. I obsess over details and love each different sport watch for these details; therefore, I lust for each one. I guess I don't go on shopping sprees because my wife keeps me in check.

I have found that buying lots of straps for the watch creates lots of variety so that it is always "fresh" in my mind.
