I had it on the OEM bracelet for maybe the 1st week and then I went to NATO / Rubber B and hadn't though about going back... 'till a few weeks ago. It's like having a new Sub... !

Same, this post (and the gorgeous photos) is what led me to finally pull the trigger on a 16600. Expecting it tomorrow. Cannot wait!

I’m mad at you I hadn’t seriously considered using a NATO strap on my 116600 but seeing yours on NATOs (particularly that red grey and black one) has made me want to risk scratching up my lugs to change it up a little.

Very nice thread!

NATO really rocks on the subs & SDs - give it a go, I'm sure you'll love it!

Choice between 16600 and SD50 is always a tricky one.....both are superb!

Thank you for bringing this thread back. I’ve recently acquired an A series 16600, this post confirmed why I love this watch so much. It’s a strap mongers with the open lug-hole case. I’ve experimented with several different Nato straps and such.

Appreciate the write ups and gorgeous photos.

Congrats on your 50th Anniversary 43mm Red SD as well.

Congrats to you and your awesome A-series SD Wow, that's certainly some nice-looking NATOs you have - it's really fun to change the classic SD up with them - keep it up

Thank you very much for the review. I also read your write up of the 126600; wonderful watch. Congrats on both Sea-Dweller watches.
