You are talking about American WG. Rolex WG has Rhodium actually in the alloy, and is not plated with Rhodium. So it is solid WG all the way through.

Also how does this watch hold up in terms of band stretch and scratches compared to steel? Thanks

A question for ya'all:
Does it show scratches more easily than steel?
Are the links solid or hollow?
Would you buy it again?
Thanks.

The links are solid gold;
I do NOT notice any additional wear than on any of my other SS models;
It is my favorite Rolex of all time...I would definitely buy it again:)

Ok ... not the best pics, but remembered today to take some. I know I know the stickers are still on in some places ... I will peel them off in due time ... something this nice makes me a little OCD

Glad to be part of this club. I really love this Sub. It is heavy on the wrist an has got the best looking Blue color you can find. For me it's the best Gold Rolex sportswatch for under the radar. Always wear it with a lot of pleasure.
