Another week has passed without capturing this murderer.
News reports say he was believed spotted last night coming out of a wooded area.
His cowardly attack occurred 37 days ago.
They'll catch him eventually.

John, a woman reported seeing him yesterday close up, covered in mud and carrying a rifle. Most of the leaves are off the trees now, temps in the 30's overnight here, this should come to a head quite soon... I hope.

According to story in nyt he was lurking around some high school that he went to. I didn't read the article with that much care but I wonder if he's got someone helping him hide out. He's clearly pretending to be Rambo out there.

I've thought the same thing. Also they say that he was planning this attack for many years, he's well prepared if nothing else,,,

The search for this murderer enters its 7th week.
News reports indicate police continue to follow up on leads that appear to show he is still in the area they have surrounded.
It's amazing that he has been able to elude them for this long. His cunning not withstanding, he will be caught.

The last news report I saw have him right in the area near some school. He must have help out there or a place to go / sleep. Because it must be getting cold at night.

Not like manhunts are easy by any stretch of the imagination how many Trillions did we spend in dollars, not to mention the thousands of American lives lost searching for saddam and bin laden. Not to mention the years it took. If he planned this for years he very well could have a bunker set up.

I personally don't think this says anything about the policemans abilities, this guy knows the woods like the back of his hand, as well as having planned it out for years makes for a very long game of hide and seek.

More disappointment than anything. Every officer out there is busting their ass trying to find the pos. Unfortunately, they are at a serious disadvantage and with every day and week that goes by, it makes it that much more difficult. The shooter knows more about those woods and associated areas than the good guys and also apparently had this attack planned out for quite some time. I can guarantee that every cop searching those woods is probably tired and wore out, but none of them will quit until this guy is caught. If he has the nerve to snipe a police officer, what is willing to do to the rest of the population?

Captured in an airport hanger? That it? What happened. I thought he was in the woods somewhere ... I'd love to see more details. But glad he's in custody nonetheless.

Another nut

Tell you what, go tell that Trooper's family all the cop jokes you know.

C'mon man, I love cop jokes all the day long, but not today. (And no, I am not so offended that I am going to cry to the admins and so forth).

We can all get along.
