In my opinion if you already
have the old style GMT then there is no reason to update it in the newer model, but if you are making your mind which one to choose I would go for the newer updated model. The older 16710 model had been manufactured tens of thousands pieces over the years and the latest manufactuctured watches are under ten years old. However, their prices are rather high, that's why you don't necessary need to put much more money in order to buy a new or at least rather new watch. Eventually it is up to your personal preferences which one to choose. I have had them both and I have regretted after selling my cokebezel GMT 16710 some years ago. Skickat från min iPad med Tapatalk

Hmmm... each watch has it's own charisma and merits... One is more classic, especially esthetically with it's classic lugs and beautiful "anodized look" bezel and the other a bit more refined mechanically and more fitting for the larger wristed bunch ~
Kinda like comparing 2 totally differen't watches actually~ I guess you can say it's like a comparison between a older model 911's more driver involved Manual transmission to the newer faster shifting PDK transmission~ One is more for the pure involvement of driving and one is for the purity of winning... I find stick shifts waaay funner and more involving for sure BUT boy does that new PDK shift FAST!!! So Which do I choose? I choose both ^^! Sorry if I was of no help at all but I love both watches as I do both style Porsches!
