My problem with my equation of time, which was also 41mm, was that it just gets cluttered with the 4 dials. I really think a watch with all that on the dial needs to be at least 42.

Is it just me or is there definitely a seconds hand. A large seconds hand?

Totally agree, which is why I would get an IWC PC, 44mm is a nice size for having all that info on the dial (plus the seconds hand).

Are you kidding here? You've never been asked by someone: "Excuse me, do you know the time? Oh and also, what week of the year is it?"

Lmao, sooooooo true, who needs the week number of the year? Is that even a thing? I thought it was pretty odd in the Army we sometimes used the Julian calendar, but never the week #.

It "could be" done that way to help insure you have set the Calander correctly and efficiently.

Plenty of other APs to wear in the pool. Don't know with a 50m WR I would swim with it anyway.

Hopefully we will see skeleton versions of these watches and one in plat would be my preference.

It's the same water resistance as it's previous generation.

Almost perfect but lacking a second hand. I really have no use for the week number information. Is it just me?

I actually have a lot of customers that use week numbers when planning production runs, and therefore they order from us with delivery dates along the same lines. So 3 loads on week 37, 2 loads week 39, etc. otherwise, I would not care one way or the other.

The rose with blue dial is a winner for me. I can't wait to see these in the metal.

Personally on this particular model I feel the white dial is better suited given how busy the dial actually is...

Some folks in the various forums have pointed out the week-hand indicator is going to block off part of the dial at some time since it doesn't move for a week. Also, the 40hrs PR is kind of low for a Perpetual. I hope it comes with a winder.

Good point Ben, I'd bet it does, as my 28520 came with a winding box.

Kind of agree, that's why I got myself a IWC ceramic PC. Honestly to read it all clearly, it needs a reasonable big dial size lol

Rose gold blue dial is uh-ma-zing. Always interested in a PC but never pulled the trigger. I'll have to check these out when they hit the boutique in Vegas.

Stunning pics. Stunning watch but also on the fence about usefulness of the week indicator and why AP decided on adding it.

I've had a rethink on a couple of earlier points.

I'm no longer bothered that it doesn't recognise a 53 week year. I don't think anyone has done it yet.

Also, I am not convinced that this watch is any more legible than the 39mm model. It seems to me that the extra 2mm is taken up with the week indicator ring rather than enlarging the sub-dials?
