Can anyone give me an approximation of how many years pass before a 14060 sub bracelet shows noticeble stretch?

Depends on how clean you keep it and how you wear it. I have a tt GMT ii similar bracelet. Almost ten years old, worn daily for many of those years. No appreciable stretch.

Thanks, I never heard about stretch till I started seeing it mentioned on the forum after I bought my pre owned watch. No issue at this time.

Michael Young is a valuable asset considering replacement bracelets from Rolex are in the thousands of dollars. His magic is an absolute bargain.

I know this is an old thread, but what is the best way to ship a bracelet to him? I am in the process now and when I pulled up my fedex account, it shows $108 as the cheapest option (one week). USPS hands it off to a third party and tracking is weak (won't do this) UPS is more than FedEx. I am not looking to skimp, but if he can send it back here (US) for $35 plus insurance, $100+ seems like a lot.

I sent it via USPS with tracking and requested the same when he sent back the bracelet. The only problem is sometimes Customs can take a while before they release the package (mine didn't take that long).

Thanks for the feedback! I ended up going with FedEx, bit the bullet. They claim that their packages dont get held up and the tracking is more accurate.....plus I have an account with them. I guess we will see, I sent it out today.

I am swapping my current band for a band that michael refurbished, it is a long story, but the one on my watch was not original to it. The 'new' one should be period/watch correct.

As for the cost, you'd have to ask him since he only give out quotes on a case by case basis. When the restoring is finished, he'll tell you how much and also any shipping cost and you can make payment via PayPal.

All in all, it was totally worth the wait and I'm very happy with the result. The bracelet looks brand new and I'm just happy to have it back on my wrist again.

Can you do an "after" side view of the bracelet in the watch, similar to your last picture? Want to see what you call zero stretch. Also, how much did he charged you for the restoration?

I sent an oyster bracelet off to the magic man earlier this week. I can't wait to see the transformation. The 23 years old bracelet had plenty of stretch. Hopefully, he can rework the blades on my clasp as well.

I used UPS to get it to him, as I have an account with them through work.
