My old set pictured plus my DD made a compelling best of 3 or 4 if you included the ALS. Now only the DD is left, do i miss the others, sure but not as much as I thought I would and it lessens every day.

I'd be happy with this trio although id ideally want a 90's platinum masterpiece hard to find pics of them. My grail is a birth year pt day date with diamond dial/bezel.

ice collection. I have one of each (AP, Patek, Rolex) as well. It's a perfect combo.

Rolex: 1016 Gilt.
AP: 15202 Blue dial.
PP: 5004P White dial.

I'll join this party, will stick with steel for this:

1. Rolex GMT- Coke (however my ultimate Rolex is the solid gold bluesy, such sexiness)
2. Patek Nautilus 5712G
3. AP Chonograph 26320S

I'd say Platona, AP 15202 (Black dial) and PP 5726 (on strap).

You can choose any budget. Either realistic or dream!

My 3 favorite brands. While thinking about this it just made me realize that there's a watch out there for all budgets.
I had a few models in mind and decided to sort them out by least expensive and most expensive:
Group 1: Exp 1, blue 15300, and 5167. Total price tag: $39,000
Group 2: Platona, AP Roo Tourbilon, and PP 5131r World Time. Total price tag: $456,000!

I am simply very happy to say that I own at least one of each: and that is more than enough for me...

Somewhat realistic choices for me:

AP Royal Oak 15450st (37mm)

Patek 5170 chronograph
