I like the Smurf, but if I were in your position I couldn't justify the change.

I tried one on at that place in NYC (I suffer from CRS...) and was very impressed by the feel. I love the weight of the PM.

For me, personally, I couldn't imagine buying one new. Especially with PM watches, the savings buying used is just huge. YUGE.

I like the stealth feature - few folks but yourself (and those of us "in the know") will think it's anything other than stainless.

As for the blue, my watch gets noticed, but I think it's more because of the TT and the blingy gold than it is the blue face and bezel. I write this knowing that the colors are different between the watches...

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Group buy on smurf... love it!
But seriously, wonder what a trusted seller would do for if they got an order for 3 smurfs. Bigger discount?

I'd liquidate the entire collection- blnr and speedy for the smurf. But I'd wait until you are 100% sure.

Did that for the blro and I'm happy with my decision

I wouldn't do it. You could buy two Rolexes for the price of the smurf.

Smurf is a classic. Not to say the Batman GMT isn't one as well but the WG Sub is very special. Definitely my favorite WG Rolex, hands down. Go for it!

OP, I've been also considering the "smurf" or YG sub. Actually, also been thinking of consolidating my small collection to just two or three watches, with two being PM.
I say go for it!

I prefer GMTs over Subs, but that Smurf looks great! What about a BLRO? If you want PM...

Try to save up some more for the Smurf and just keep the BLNR for daily. They complement each other nicely.

I agree with this. I have the Smurf and love it. My wife got it for me for my 40th birthday. However, having a SS watch is nice too whenever one is working outside etc and increases the chance for scratches. The weight of the gold is awesome, but it is softer than SS. If you were going to have only one, I would keep the BLNR. But if you were adding to your collection, then definitely get the Smurf. But ultimately it's up to you and what would make you smile.

Both

Smurf is my all-time favorite Rolex. BLNR is one of my favorite SS models. If I had to pick just one, it would be the Smurf.
