I'm late to the party but just read reviews and saw videos on this piece. Do you guys know if the bracelet has any micro adjustment features? Also, what percentage discount is possible with BP? Thanks.

Congrats GB man on your future incoming. I have no doubts that you won't regret the move.. and IMO, this model will definitely do a lot a better than the standard FF in the secondary market. This is by far the best modern Blancpain model since the release of the 50th anniversary model in 2003. Looking forward to future pictures! Quote:
I definitely share your sentiments.. I'm glad that I have this baby too, otherwise I'm in trouble and I'd be scrambling around to get this new release as well.. |

I suspect that this one will be a bit small for me, but it does look good.
Interesting that they've used the square crown guards for this version.

I've a deposit down on one, here's hoping the exchange rate doesn't tank anymore and change the price (had that last year when I was waiting on the Zenith CP2) :D

I want that NATO they've made. It's more like the one from Omega with the fabric keepers. I haven't been a fan of BP's NATOs with metal hardware. Fabric is super comfortable. Hopefully they'll make it in 23mm so I can run it on the FF.

Here is a short vid that gives a good perspective on case thickness.

Just found these specs on monochrome which would put it half a mil thicker than a 116610
Case: 40.3 mm diameter x 13.23 mm thick – steel case – rotating bezel –sapphire crystal – Water resistant to 30 ATM / 300m – black dial with water-resistance indicator. Not bad considering the standard FF is 15.5 mm. |

From a price perspective if you want both options it makes sense to order on NATO & buy the sailcloth separately, but I think the sailcoth strap from BP is easily one of the best/most comfortable straps around.

I seriously contemplated it as I have read glowing reviews of it on other forums doing my research. I decided I just prefer the look of the sailcloth, much like I prefer the 5167/A to 5167/1A.
Price was about 2k more for bracelet. |

I agree with the 5167 on rubber, but I'm torn on this

Great videos, guys. The watch looks a little modern with the bracelet and more old school tool watch on the sail cloth and NATO. Either way a really nice piece.

When in doubt, get both
I'm a sucker for sailcloth. Anyone ever tried BP NATOs? I'm just wondering if there's any reason I should spend what I assume is hundreds more for one versus just using one from maratcac? |

The problem I have with BP NATOs is the metal hardware. Based on your wrist size, it can become uncomfortable pretty quickly. It looks like the MILSPEC NATO may be all fabric, with fabric keepers, like the Omega series. If that's true then they've finally done something right. I've been wearing my BPFF on Omegas NATO because it's so comfortable. Fabric keepers are where it's at. If not then I'm sticking with TOXICNATOS. Their quality and customer service for a simple NATO or ZULU strap is second to none. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Pro |

Well I have a confession to make....I put down a deposit for one.
I made some disparaging comments earlier but they couldn't hold up after handling the watch in a boutique. Seriously, this is the watch to get this year. It has so much charm. If you love it in photos, you'll love it even more in real life. |

I'm very late to this party. Congratulations Tom, when do you pick this one up?
I've always been intrigued by the FF, and I'd love to see one in the metal. |
