I say the JLC Reverso would be ideal.
Get one that is simple with plain steel flip over back. Use some of the money you save to engrave something nice and meaningful on the back. Then whenever you are bored or getting down at work, you can flip the back over and read the sentimental mantra engraved on the back to put a smile on your face :) That is something I will do in the future. You also can't go wrong with any dress watch with a moonphase complication, it is pretty to look at and would impress any watch noobs in your office who glance at it... not that they matter LOL
