15 years is about right. Do they have the little adjusting barrel on the sole?

I LOVE my Brompton. Built this baby from the ground up with the guys at Pasadena Cyclery. Rode it in the Rosarito - Ensenada ride two years back, I’ve been coast to coast with this bike in my trunk, enjoying all the little moments. I haven’t been able to ride in a while due to a dual hand injury last Krismas; but I am eager to hit the pedals again!

This is awesome! I'm waiting for my first Brompton to arrive later this week. I've never been into bikes but I look forward to taking the Brommie with me on trips or just leaving it in my trunk for spontaneous rides.

Hope you continue to have fun with your B.

Awesome!! I LOVE my Brompton. I rode in the Brompton World Championship qualifiers at Laguna Seca last year with my dad; he will also be going to London for the BWC next month! It’s a great bike and I keep it in my car at all times. I built a P6R with the basic Brooks saddle, which is still pretty light for all the stuff I’ve got....What setup are you going with?

Wow, didn't know they had qualifiers at Laguna Seca.. not that I'm ready for that though!

I just ordered a H6R -12% gearing in All Tempest Blue. Should be here early next week. It will come with the Brompton cat eye light kit, wide saddle, C bag and GP1 grips. I'll post pictures when I get it..

Last year I bought a black edition black lacquer but foolishly I sold it earlier this year.. at least I got my money back but I missed the bike so I ordered a new one.

I looked into the electric model but just too heavy and I need the exercise anyway..

Oh boy neither were we.... it was bruuuutal; but a lifetime opportunity I had to go for. I made 3 laps in FULL British commuter regalia down the F@*#N Andretti hairpin. It was glorious.
