Jacques Cousteau obviously didn't know how to wear his sub...

I agree. After reading all of the advise on this thread, I got home from work and put the watch on. One thing I noticed, and I've never thought much about this, is that my wrist bone is almost non existent. Hardly protrudes at all. If I loosen the watch up just one notch, which I sometimes do, the watch easily slides from low on my wrist to way above my wrist bone. I'm a tall guy, 6'5", and my arms are long and skinny (even though my wrist is 7.5 "). This is probably the reason I like to wear it snug, if not, it flops all over the place.
To those of you who think I'm in some kind of discomfort from the watch" digging" into me, trust me, it's not. When I first purchased it, I wore it for 5 days straight. Never even thought about it once - except to periodically glance down to admire it.

FWIW, your wrist bone seems prominent enough in your pic. Did you tighten it up and try wearing it above the bone? Tight enough so it won't fall below it?

I'm not sure how to categorize how I wear mine. It's tight enough not to float everywhere but it does have some movement. It is very comfortable and I never really think about it. It I set the band too tight it is not comfortable when I sleep. I only adjust it based upon my diet...lately I've been adjusting it looser.

Here's a few pictures. First is it sitting normal, second is if I put my arm up and shake it a bit and the third is if if my arm is hanging get down, it's all so scientific.

I used to wear my sxk007 a little lose and low on my wrist. When I bought my sub, I decided to try wearing it a little tighter to help prevent bracelet stretch, and naturally, this moved the watch up to my wrist bone (because wearing it tight and low was uncomfortable).

Now I prefer how it looks and feels, tight and by my wrist bone.

I say give it a shot!

High and tight is the most secure.. low and loose is more prone to 12oclock damage and abuse from all the things your hands get into.. keep it classy!

That's a 1953 sub on his wrist. I suspect he wore it fitted for his wet suit in the days prior to glide locks.

It may sound strange initially, but I hear that wearing a watch loose actually causes the bracelet to stretch more than if it were snug. The logic behind this is that it tends to slide down and come under tension when you flex/move your wrist. Makes sense to me!

Low and snug for me. I can't imagine wearing it above the wrist bone and I don't like mine to flop around. The bone helps keep it in place.

High and snug for me so gets good purchase without being too tight - Pretty much on par with a lot of the responses here.

Agree that you should wear it however you want and the best place is where it's most comfortable for you!

I wear mine high so the crown doesn't dig into the back of my hand when I flex it upwards.

I wear it loose enough to move a bit on my arm but not so much that it rotates around my arm or flops or anything. It will move a bit back and forth but not so much around the circumference. This seems to keep me from having to adjust it all the time and is comfortable.

High and tight for me but it’s just about comfort so if low and tight is comfy then so be it.
