AP needs to be careful and not over cater to the Asian market like IWC did. The collections went to shit and they ended up having to backtrack.

AP doesent produce enough watches annually to backtrack. Unlike a 116610LV "green Sub' from Rolex I would be willing to bet one would never see anyone in their life with a orange yellow green purple etc AP diver.

Yea I guess it depends on what we mean by backtracking but I was a bit surprised by AP volume. They’re producing 40k units per year. I was under the impression it was half of that. I know that’s peanuts next to Rolex but it’s no FP Journe either.

Cheers.

On my last visit to London I saw a ‘guy’ wearing an orange Diver chrono. I was with Sam (SC11) at the time who pointed out that he was also carrying a ladies hand bag.

If you saw a funky color diver, you could spot it at 50 yards. Based simply on the fact that you dont have to be that close to someone to spot it I highly doubt you will never see one.

Im sure you can wear one instead of a high vis jacket when riding your bike on London streets so motorists can see you.

Camouflage AP on one wrist and funky colour Diver on the other. From one angle it’s hi viz, from the other angle it’s invisible.

its no coincidence that the loud colors pair nicely with the colors of the super cars in Knightsbridge that are always cruising around. Its going to be a new thing, pairing your watch with your car. Im actually being serious.

The Camouflage 44 will pair nicely with a Mercedes G class SUV w/ a custom paint job

The funky Turquoise blue diver kind of matches my Oyster card. Still not buying it though.

I'd like the dark green strap to put on my black diver. Patek did that with the Aquanaut a few years back and it looked great. Will the straps be available on their own?

These seriously look like Chinese-made fakes you'd find on Canal St.

WTF, AP?!

Should be, was told by AP new models coming out in June/July so straps will be then too.

Can't believe they haven't updated the divers crown to ceramic. The rubber crown just doesn't feel that sturdy

I’ve seen only one orange diver in the wild - on a guy who obviously body built with full sleeve tattoos. The diver matched the colour scheme of his tattoos nicely and it looked great in him...these bright coloured divers are not for me, but can work for some
