Congrats! So you basically paid a price of 150% total to get this stainless steel watch - good deal!

Congratulations on the new watch!

I'm also in KSA not too far from Jeddah. If you ever fancied a GTG I'm in and out of Jeddah 2 or 3 times a month on business.

Absolutely AB - just PM when you are in town, we can pop to my local AD who I have a great relationship with now, he sits me down with a coffee everytime I go down and takes me through and shows me all his stock.

What better way to spend a few hours.

Congrats on the watch, one of my fave Rolexes. Price of £14K is high and close to grey/private sale prices indeed but now just enjoy it!

It's getting some serious wrist time this week

Wearing it on a trip to my local mall in Jeddah today, proof if ever needed that not every 116500LN buyer keeps them in a box for a rainy day.

Really enjoying this watch, it's a pleasure to own.

By their inflated price here in KSA of USD $18,200 (GBP14,000), I am assuming that this has put off all the speculators, those wanting a quick profit and flippers off buying it, hence a much more realistic waiting time of only 12 months.

My AD here in Jeddah ( Saudi's 2nd largest city with a population of over 4 million) stated that they had received 8 x SS Daytonas in this year (4 black & 4 white). I'd put a wager on that due to the price putting off all these speculators that all 8 watches went to proper Rolex watch aficionados.

This can only be a good thing imo.

Anyway it's getting some wrist time, not keeping this one locked away in a box, I'm off to my mate Pete's bbq see below pic. Plenty of watch guys will be there too.

I am in jeddah too and got hold of a BLNR in around 4 weeks from the Red Sea Mall Rolex ship. It worked out at £7700 approximately.

As you said, availability here is better but that is a consequence of much higher pricing.

It’s okay. I’m happy you got yours already. Enjoy the watch. Price is not so important since the moment you get yours, it will be your daily. I know I love mine. Cheers!
